What's Happening....

I've been working on orders lately and haven't really made up anything new to show. I love having new projects so I have new pictures to post!

I received an order for a quilt, a crib skirt, a window valance and a pillow a couple of weeks ago. I finished all of those items up tonight and I CAN'T WAIT to see pictures of the nursery! Little Hagan is going to have a rockin' room!

My BFF has requested some shirts for school, so I made her up this one with a cute little schoolhouse on it. I think it would be really cute with a school name under the schoolhouse.

I have had several orders for the little snowman dress, but little boys don't usually look right in a dress! I made up this onesie for a little boy to wear while his sister wears her dress.

I have had several requests for crayon rolls, but just haven't had the extra time to make a few up. A teacher from my son's school placed an order for two for her grand-daughters. They were so cute!

I have three more fall dress to make and then I am going to make up that Christmas skirt that I've been dying to make! Heck, I might even make one in my size!

Quilts & Blankets

For those of you that are my "friend" on Facebook, you have already seen these quilts and blankets. I just wanted to add them to this site for my "friends" that aren't on facebook!

This blanket was a custom order blanket for a new baby. The customer requested red, white & blue baseball or football theme.

Baby blanket with soft yellow minky border and backing.

Custom quilt for our new niece.

Little boys snuggle blanket.

Another little boy's snuggle blanket.

Little girls snuggle blanket. I love this color combo!

This blanket was supposed to be for a boy or a girl, but the pink spoiled it for the boys! I have two of these available.

My grandmother's pinwheel quilt, that still isn't finished!

My very first quilt. This is for my wonderful husband. I quilted and did the binding myself. I have since found a wonderful quilter that does the hard work for me!

This blanket and pillow goes to pre-school with my cousin's little boy everyday.

Custom quilt for our nephew.

Quilts for twins. They are different, but same theme.

A friend brought this blanket to me to personalize for someone special.

Several of the blankets in this post are available for purchase. Send me an email if you are interested in any of them!

New Dresses

This week I have been making more dresses! I am hoping to get my "production time" down to under two weeks. That means, if you place an order, you have it no later than two weeks from the order date. I have been so overwhelmed with the response that I have gotten and my production time has been way off the planned time frame. It looks like I am finally getting closer to my goal! I have some older orders that are hopefully going to get finished up this week and then I will be really close to my aniticipated time frame. I'm hoping anyway!

I received an order for this cute little dress at Buzzy's Fall Festial. I thought it turned out really cute. I moved the appliqued image down a bit because they can a bit scrunched up if they are right under the gathering.

This shirt was a special order for a very special Big Brother to-be! I hope he likes it!

I have taken several orders for this dress. I posted it earlier as a shirt design. I have two "older" orders outstanding for this dress! My plan is this weekend, these orders will be filled!

I took my first order for a crib set this week! I am excited to get that project under way! I'm patiently, sort of, awaiting the arrival of my fabric so I can get to work!

Happy November!

Good Monday morning! This week is going to be a busy one for the Busy Bee. I will be working on orders and hopefully making up some dress and skirt examples along the way! I have a really cute skirt pattern that consists of three different fabrics and pom-pom trim! This skirt is going to look great with a matching appliqued shirt! The dress is made up of several different fabrics. As of right now, I don't have Christmas fabric for this dress, but I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the fabric that I will be using! Stay tuned! Cute things are coming!

Dresses & dresses & dresses, oh my!

A few of my recent projects.

Who says that your favorite team has to be supported in traditional colors? I love how this pink shirt showcases this little one's love for UK!

Dorothy's dress is going to be a bit short for school, so she's going to wear bloomers under it!

Fall dresses are ready to roll out the door!

I loved how my stick figure bride and groom stitched out, and my models perfect smile!

Since I am room mother again this year, I was asked to come up with an idea for the class Great Pumpkin entry. Last year the class did The Very Hungry Catepillar. This year, since I'm in the sewing mood, I made a pumpkin topiary from fabric. These pumpkins can be used year after year!

Just wanted to give you a glimpse into where my creative magic happens. Scary isn't it?!?

Halloween Stock

With Halloween quickly approaching, snatch up the last of my Halloween stock before it's gone! The shirts in the following pictures are the last creations for Halloween 2010. I hope to be posting examples of Thanksgiving and Christmas soon!

The shirts pictured come with a matching hair bow. If you little lady isn't a bow wearer or you already have a bow to match, by all means, you do not have to take the bow! There will be a reduction in price if just the shirt is purchased. Sizing is as follows:

Zebra witch hat with green sash - 12 month and Girls L (10-12)
Peace, Love, Candy - Girls M (8)
"Psycho" Witch Hat - 4T
Witch Shoes - Girls XS (4)

This zebra snowman dress has been a very popular dress! The pumpkin dress will be darling with a green initial or name!

Zebra dress - 2T
Pumpkin - 12-24 month

Since I am the proud mother of two rambunctious boys, I have tried to find boy designs that are fitting for rough and tumble little fella. Let me tell you, that is a chore! I have to run each one by my oldest before I purchase to make sure that it's "boyish" enough for him or his brother!

Truck with Tree - 2T
4-Wheeler on Camo - XS (5)
Truck with Pumpkin - 18-24 months
Puppy - 2T

Bloomers are absolutely precious on little girls, but not so much on little boys! When I saw these boxer shorts, I knew that I had to try some! They are perfect for covering up a diaper for special occasions!

Toot Toot - 0-6 months
Robot - 18-24 months
Monster - 12-18 months

I have a few adult fall/Halloween shirts available. Once again, I think the pumpkin would look great with a first name initial or school initials.

Scarecrow - Large
Witch feet - Large
Pumpkin - X-Large & Medium

These little bloomers are so cute when paired with a tutu. My friend Lindsay or Lindsay's Bowtique can fix you right up with a matching tutu in every color of the rainbow!

Too Sweet - 0-6 months
Wiggle Worm - 6-12 months

If you are my "friend" on facebook, you have seen many more of my creations. I hope to gradually add pictures to this site of the past projects. Until then, I will be adding my newly created items as they are finished. Since my blog is new, please spread the word. I have had several requests for a website and this is my attempt ;-)! As always, embroidery designs can be special ordered for any size or color. Please contact me here if you are interested in placing an order or any of the items pictured above!
